Hurricane Preparedness Checklist

Water (1 gal/person/day), non-perishable food, medications, flashlights, batteries, cash, important documents.
Board windows, bring in outdoor items, document belongings with photos for insurance claims.
Identify pet-friendly shelters. Designate a meeting point and out-of-state contact.
Follow NHC (nhc.noaa.gov), your county emergency manager, and NOAA Weather Radio for official guidance.
Turn Around Don't Drown. 6 inches of fast-moving water can knock you down; 12 inches can sweep a vehicle.
