Resilient Florida alignment
Florida's Resilient Florida Program (F.S. § 380.093) funds vulnerability assessments and resilience planning across the state's counties and municipalities. Floodi is not a state program, is not funded by Resilient Florida, and does not replace a formal vulnerability assessment. What it can do is complement that planning work: street-level, real-time reports give planning and emergency management staff faster, more granular visibility into where flooding is actually occurring today — the kind of ground-truth signal that helps validate and refine the models and maps a Resilient Florida assessment produces.

Floodi is seeking one Florida county emergency management office as a founding government pilot partner. Pilot participants receive full platform access, ArcGIS integration support, onboarding and training, and direct input into the product roadmap.

No. Floodi is not affiliated with FEMA, NOAA, NWS, USGS, or any government agency. Official data (NWS alerts, FEMA flood zones, USGS gauge readings) is displayed with attribution via each agency's public APIs, unmodified. Floodi does not send WEA or EAS alerts and is not an official emergency notification system.

Floodi combines official NWS alerts, USGS gauge readings, and street-level community flood reports into one real-time layer for flood monitoring and emergency management — supplementing the county-wide picture from official sources with ground-truth reports from residents.
Floodi stores the report coordinates, severity, optional street/city/county label, optional photo, and an optional text comment. No. Floodi is a supplemental situational-awareness tool. It does not integrate with 911 dispatch, does not distribute official evacuation orders, and is not a replacement for WebEOC, NWS, or FloridaDisaster.org. Every Floodi page includes a safety notice to that effect.
For informal pilots with no contract (60-day scoped access), we have moved from first contact to live access in under two weeks with an MOU only. For formal procurement with IT security review and contract execution, typical timelines are 3–9 months. We'll work with your procurement and IT teams from day one.
Floodi is not currently FedRAMP-authorized. The underlying infrastructure — Supabase (PostgreSQL + Storage) and Cloudflare — operates on SOC 2 Type II certified platforms. For state and local government use cases that do not require FedRAMP, this posture is typically sufficient.
Yes. For government pilot engagements, Floodi will execute a data-sharing agreement or MOU that specifies data fields shared, retention periods, FOIA/public-records posture, and incident response commitments before any data exchange begins.
